Board of Directors Meeting
September 5, 2007 – Recap

The following are condensed highlights of the WWHOA BOD meeting minutes. Complete, approved minutes are available by contacting the association Secretary.

Open Discussion: None

Executive Session: None

Meeting called to order at 7:10 p.m. by the President.

Minutes/recaps of the August 15, 2007 reviewed and approved as presented.

Treasurer’s Report: 1) Year to date summary presented, 2) No homes in escrow.

Common Area Committee: 1) Essential Design has been selected for maintenance and ivy abatement of easement pathway at Mimus and Walden Woods Way.

Architectural Review Committee: 1) Board brought up to date on applications/recent approvals. 2) Proposed changes for fence and landscaping policies – tabled and will be taken under review.

Community Events: 1) Last Summer Movie Night September 15th, feature TBA, location: 6655 Calypte; 2) Fall Block Party scheduled for October 7th, seeking organizer for the event, location TBA.

Neighborhood Watch: No report

Other: None.

Old Business: 1) Property management company exploration continued with update on reference checks with other community homeowner associations and possible exploration of an additional suggested management company for review. 2) Fire abatement question along Auburn-Folsom Road properties – County does not have manpower to provide such service for grass/weed abatement. Awaiting a bid from Brush Busters; 3) Realty sign placement at front entrance – not allowed on County easement, attempts will be made to have the County enforce its own rule and/or WWHOA contact with offending reality companies.

New Business: 1) Nominating Committee being organized for upcoming elections at the Annual Meeting; 2) updated community directories to be published after the Annual Meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 9:10 p.m., no Executive Session to follow.

Next meeting: HOA Annual Meeting scheduled for Sunday, October 7, 2007, location TBA.
