Board of Directors Meeting
April 4, 2006 – Recap

The following are condensed highlights of the WWHOA BOD meeting minutes. Complete, approved minutes are available by contacting the association Secretary.

BOD members present: Stephanie Kenney, President; Guy Hall, Vice President; Holly Wojcik, Secretary; Caroline Furnas, Member-at-Large; absent: Gary Grenfell, Treasurer

Association members present: Diana Butler, Gail Sillers, John Bomberger, Pat Bomberger

Open Discussion: None.
Executive Session: None

Meeting called to order at 7:10 p.m. by the President.

Minutes/recap of the February 28, 2006 meeting were read and approved with amendments.

Common Area Committee: Wild Flower Walk – May 13; fuel abatement/fire road clearing completed; several fallen trees, some onto private property, since abatement need to be removed; need volunteers for spring trail grooming; looking for new CA chairperson as Bill will be stepping down; discussion/appropriate actions discussed regarding equestrian misuse of CA; discussion re: green waste dumping in CA by homeowners; consider hiring out some of maintenance work for CA – maintenance plan to be reviewed and suggestions made

Treasurer’s Report: Continuing to seek new treasurer; no properties in escrow, 2 homes for sale; all Annual dues payments have been received; year-to-date and 2005 year end reports submitted

Architectural Review Committee: Board brought up to date on applications and recent approvals; WWHOA website now has updated Property Improvement Application and copy of the 5/05 moratorium letter regarding patio/boat shelters; introductory ARC “Dear Neighbor” letter presented/reviewed/amended and final draft will be distributed with 2006 directories

Community Events: 2nd Annual Spud Party successful; Annual Easter Egg Hunt slated for April 8 (April 15 rain date) – Sandra Hall to coordinate; May Block Party – Gena Howells to coordinate, date/location TBA

Neighborhood Watch: No report.

Other: None

Old Business: 1) Amending Conditions of Use with Placer County to increase the 3.000 foot maximum footprint per lot – group application plan and draft “Footprint Issue” letter for the community reviewed/supported with suggested amendments; 2) Front entrance update: fencing in place near east fire road entrance; misc. issues being addressed as they arise; 3) Welcome Committee – no report

New Business: Investigation underway regarding cable TV/internet options for WW; discussion of patio/boat shelter policy draft, moratorium letter of 5/05 regarding same, and process for development/institution of policies for WWHOA
