WALDEN WOODS OF GRANITE BAY

Directory Update:
Everyone should already have a new Walden Woods Directory delivered to your home. If one doesn't appear within a few days, contact Denese Holden at 652-0856.
As a reminder, in the directory on page 18 is a list of kids who will baby sit, house sit, home site or provide yard work. Names and contacts for the new WWHOA Board and Water Board are provided in the front section.
Corrections can be sent in via email for the next printing (probably annual.) A reminder will be sent to this distribution list before the next printing.

Common Area Work:
Take a walk through our own 27+ acre private wood wood reserve. Terrific improvements are going on with the help of Bill Furnas and his gang. The seeded wild flowers are blooming, quite a bit of heavy brush has been cleared out (for fire safety as well), trails improved and bridges added. Quite of bit of the poison oak has been cut out and spraying teams are hitting it March 31st.
Firewood from the fire-prevention brush clearing is becoming available. Please contact the common area chairman, Bill Furnas if you wish to obtain some of the firewood.
Also, if you want to pitch and help out improving our woods (generally on Saturday mornings) let Bill Furnas know.

Did you know...
Walden is a German word for what? Read the answer backwards: tserof ro sdoow.
