Annual Association Fees

URGENT:  If you didn’t get you’re annual membership fees paid and post marked to the Association by January 31st, please do so as soon as possible.  Each month 1.5% interest accrues.  Bills paid in February have to add $10 late fee and $3 interest (January and February) unpaid.  If anyone would have difficulty making a full payment, please call Gary Grenfell (652-1382) and make arrangements with him for a payment plan.  Also, you can contact Gary to find out if your payment has been received.

  Folsom Lake Mutual Water Company

No news is good news.  The FLMWC water utilization still within targets and as a result of everyone's savings, our rates can be held to their current level.

  Maps

Thanks to Brian Holden, we have a new lot map of Walden Woods.   You may have seen it in the back of the new directory.  Check it out on the Walden Woods Web site.

  Common Area:

Fire Brush Removal – Another contract has been set with Public Tree for fire fuel abatement in the common area.  This year’s effort will focus in the southwest corner of the common area.   If the weather is good, they should start on the week of January 28th.

Poison Oak Abatement – There is a contract with Essential Design for the week of February 8th to cut out the poison oak brush in the areas that we’ve killed the plants.  This should help to really open major parts of the common area.

Improvements:  More work went into improving the pathways.  Check the trail on Sunset hill by the picnic table.

Wild Flowers – The crew finished planting the wild flowers.  You can see the seedlings coming up!

Join in and help out - the next Common Area Improvement Volunteer days are Saturday, Feb 2nd and 16th.   Show up at Bill Furnas' house (8345 Walden Woods Way) at 9AM.
